The 31st | Joe | Senior Portraits

Joe’s good people from a great family. His sister Pagie, whose grad party photobooth you may remember, visited us a couple year ago. Oh, how time flies.

The 31st | Sam | Senior Portraits

Sam is a part-time model, full-time sweetheart.  She also has some familial connection to the people behind this stuff.  Our shoot was great for two things: 1. Sweating in the incredibly powerful midday sun.  (Don’t change in the car unless you want to die of heat exhaustion.) 2. Testing the water solubility of latex paint.  [...]

The 30th | Niki, Brad, and Reese

I learn something new every time I photograph a baby… Things that I feel like I’m still too young to know. I would tell you what I learned but it’s mostly giggle words and we can’t have that on the blog, now can we?

The 30th | Elsa | Senior Portraits

Elsa had the distinction of having her senior shoot on the windiest day of the year.  Our giant umbrella turned itself inside out.  I was all MARY POPPINS UP IN HERRRRRRRE.  Thank goodness for the Walker and their gorgeous new cafe space.  (Thank goodness, too, for Elsa’s very calm and collected self.)

The 28th | Jessica | Senior Portraits

Meet Jessica, the cousin of our beloved Nicki Lou who is now teaching in Mexico – but has assured us it’s a safe part of Mexico.  Both Jessica and her cousin have a flare for the dramatic and bring it wherever they go when they go to shoot pictures.  Which is often.  Because they have [...]

The 27th | Kari | Senior Portraits

Big ups to Kari’s mom for helping with the lighting yesterday while Kess made the funnies at CTsZ. Great work Kari – you killed it.

The 26th | Maria | Senior Portraits

We didn’t get her home in time for free pie, but that’s ok.  Thanks for the dinosaur Silly Band!

The 25th | Sam | Senior Portraits

Sam is a very high energy person who loves dresses and apparently never sets foot out of the house without a bow in her hair. She traveled with her entourage which consisted mainly of Molly (aka Thelma) whom you may remember from July. Thanks for the help on the shoot Molly, and great work Sam.

The 25th | Natalie | Senior Portraits

I asked Natalie as we were starting to shoot what she did at school and she told me that she was a swimmer. I said that was awesome, asked what else, and she laughed. I wouldn’t know this given the success I’ve had as an athlete, but people who are good a stuff apparently have [...]

The 24th | Margie | Senior Portraits

Margie, These images are worth every bug bite. (And I’m just saying, I have one in my armpit.) XO, Katy and Matt
