The 27th | Jens | Senior Portraits

Jens has lived everywhere and speaks Danish.  (In case you need an interpreter during passing time.)  Send an impossible-to-pronounce love note!

The 22nd | Alex | Senior Portraits

Alex, the aspiring composer, visited us this week for a Lifestyle session and trip to the record store.  We wanted to help her work on her audition for for Berklee, but she declined.  Isn’t that weird?  Blum practically got his degree in sight reading for percussion.* *”Practically” not “actually”

The 20th | Kat | Senior Portraits

My favorite favorite image of Kat’s session is at the very bottom of this post.  Hooray for cloudy, blustery days.  Welcome fall and boots wearing weather!  Can’t wait to see you again!

The 20th | Sam | Senior Portraits

Sam is an enthusiastic member of the Minnesota Special Hockey Team and he takes a tremendous amount of pride in it.  He’s also a joy to be around.  Genuine, kind people are the best.

The 19th | Amanda + Dave | Wedding

As you tour through this wedding, just keep in mind that Amanda works for Minnesota Bride and thusly has a distinct advantage in terms of Access to Fancy Wedding Stuff and Classy Ideas. Don’t beat yourself up, Gentle Reader.  We can’t all be this swanky!  Just luxuriate in the folds of her dress because it [...]

The 16th | Sarah | Senior Portraits

Oh, hello again.  Let me say this about Sarah – she is her own person and she is great at it.  Her band, The Word Party, is playing their CD release party tonight at the 7th Street Entry.  Kids these days…  they don’t even wait to be grown ups to do awesome stuff.

The 16th | Tommy | Portraits

Tommy, brother of Abby (who’s a supermodel), has one of the coolest (and strangest) summer jobs I’ve ever heard of – he’s an underwater landscaper.  Basically he puts on scuba gear and hand-weeds peoples’ beaches.  He’s also studying computer science so he understood all of my PHP jokes.

The 15th | Reba | “Senior Portraits”

Reba is part time student, part time activist, and full time artist. If all goes to plan she’ll be in NYC at this time next year.  I think she’ll be perfect there.

The 14th | Solomon Family Portraits

I know what you’re thinking: “I’ve seen that kid before!”  Well, faithful blog stalker (aka Mom), you’re right. We got the whole Solomon crew involved.  Including the most unselfconscious 11 year old we’ve ever met.  Nailed it.

The 13th | Erin (Also) | Senior Portraits

What?! Two Erins in one day?  It’s like Halley’s Comet up in here. We first met Erin back when we photographed she and her sister, Claire.  It took her 2 years but now she’s a senior with awesome glasses.
